NOW HIRING: EVENT STAFF

As an up and coming hotspot, Just A Taste is growing our working family to accommodate our newest expansion, Top Shelf, the area’s premier event center.  We are looking for those who are dedicated, hard-working, driven, and desire a chance to excel in the service industry.  Experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is available for the following part-time positions:

Event Servers:  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.  Under the direction of the Owners and Event Manager, our servers will work with the rest of the team to ensure event guests receive the best impression of the venue, with a focus on customer service at all times. Applicants must be friendly and present themselves and our food and beverages properly, professionally, and in a manner consistent with the philosophies and image of Just A Taste and Top Shelf. 

Event Set-Up and Tear-Down Crew:  Under the direction of the Owners and Event Manager, individuals in this position will be responsible for preparing the banquet rooms for events; taking down and storing tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and decorations after events; and cleaning-up after events. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take direction and the initiative to work as part of a team.  This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire shift and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.

Bartenders: Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. Under the direction of the Bar Manager and Owners, Bartenders will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of beverage quality and customer service to ensure all customers enjoy a superior event experience. Applicants must be friendly, patient, and at all times express and uphold the core values of Just A Taste and Top Shelf.

Cooks: Under the direction of the Owners and Chefs, cooks will be responsible for preparing meals that uphold the high quality taste and aesthetic of Just A Taste and Top Shelf.  This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire shift and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 pounds or greater.  Duties will also include maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and working environment. 

Dishwashers: Under the direction of the Owners and Chefs, dishwashers will be responsible for helping to clear tables and glasses from the event space, properly sanitize and store them, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.  This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack, and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 pounds or greater.

Bartender

 The Just A Taste Bartender is directly responsible for maintaining the high standard of beverage quality and service for guests of Just A Taste.

Server

This position is designed to provide our guests with a unique and outstanding sensory experience.  Our servers will work with the rest of the Just A Taste team to ensure the guests receive the best impression of Just A Taste, with a focus on customer service at all times.
